Katherine Heigl admits her childhood in a white bubble and how this realization affected the way she raised adopted, multiracial kids. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" as well as "Grey's Anatomy", star Katherine Heigl admitted she was not concerned about the color of her skin until she came across her adopted sister from South Korea. Meg was asked if the way she was treated differed when they were out together with their parents and then when they went alone. Meg replied: "Oh Sure, I've witnessed the whole thing and I've been there all the time! Heigl talked to parents about how she realized the naivety of her actions. Heigl said she got angry and felt that she needed to channel her anger on helping the adopted children she has. Heigl is with Josh Kelley for 13 years, have a son, Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. Their child Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009. Adalaide is a Black 8-year old girl that they adopted in 2012.
